Will my HVAC system or ducts be damaged by cleaning?
No. Our tools and equipment are designed to not damage your home’s air ducts or system, and we make sure every customer is satisfied with the results before leaving. For more answers to customer questions, check out our FAQ section below.
Is a truck-mounted vacuum system better than one that’s portable?
A truck mounted vacuum system is generally considered to be more effective than a portable system because it is usually based on a heavier and stronger system and motor. However, some portable equipment can have tools that can be located closer to your ductwork so that they can do an equally effective job. Both of these types of equipment can clean your home properly.
Is a sanitizer necessary to effectively clean my home’s air ducts?
Not in most circumstances. Sanitizers or deodorizers are not usually recommended for HVAC systems because of their chemical irritants and inhalation risks to people. Our normal air duct cleaning will completely remove dirt, dust and other debris in addition to mold, mildew or bacterial growth in your home.
How often does the dryer vent need cleaning?
The frequency of the cleaning depends on several factors. These include the length, design and make of the dryer duct and the design and condition of the cap. Shorter vents made of rigid metal and having fewer turns will require cleaning less often compared to longer and softer ones with lots of corners.
